About Cattura Photography
Cattura is Italian for capture, which is exactly what I strive to do with my photography. I want to capture you and your loved ones the way you see each other. I love capturing a special smile or smirk or a crazy silly face. I even love getting the serious looks, especially on the little ones.
Why the Italian name? I was fortunate to spend a semester of college in Sienna and Florence, Italy and I fell in love with the people and the language.
I fell in love with photography at age 8 and took several years of photography classes in high school and college. Although I got my degree in environmental studies, I never lost my passion for photography. Having children allowed me the time and the subject matter to perfect my skills and I have now photographed people and families in all walks of life.
I can do a studio session or an outdoor session. Either way, I can come to your house or meet you at a location of your choice. This is especially convenient for those who wish to capture little ones.
I live in Fort Collins but can travel to anywhere in the Front Range if needed. I have focused primarily on portraits of all ages but I also love events, especially weddings and birthday parties.
